I always wondered what it would be like to have a real trail dog… Had a few pooches over the years but they were more wrenching buddies than trail dogs. But I have hit the trail with other riders and their trail dogs and the athleticism of those mutts over insane terrain at speed always blew my mind. Not to mention they always make the trail side hangs better. This one is for all those trail dogs out there. But keep your paws off my Kona.
I whipped up this for Kona last summer after a desire for a simpler drawing style (sometimes), something akin to the newspaper funnies section, complete with comic book dot patterns and groaner one-liners. Still trying to lock in “my style” for these, but I hope to throw more of these up here!
